This is 3 years (six semesters) diploma course started in 2007 with intake of 40 students. The student got admission through an entrance examination Pre Polytechnic Test (PPT).The minimum eligibility criterion for appearing in PPT examination is SSC Passed or as per government rules

Self employment
- To establish own electronics equipment repairing workshop.
- To establish small scale industries in field of electronics and telecom sector.
- Training officers in ITI and other technical & vocational institutes.
- Engaged as Junior Engineer in state Govt. Departments like PWD, CREDA etc.
- Employed as TTA in BSNL, Technician JE in RRB.
- Diploma Trainee Engineers in various public sector like NTPC, BSNL, SAIL, BHEL, ISRO etc.
- Lab Technician, Skill Attendants, Instructor in various Educational Institutes and Process Industries like Power plant, Steel Plant etc.
- Employed as Junior Engineer in various board like CSPDCL, Municipal corporation etc.
