Diploma in Modern Office Management is a three-year (six semesters) program designed to equip students with Secretarial/Office skills for employment in various fields of endeavor. Students of this program are exposed to courses in their special areas as well as courses in general education. In addition to the acquisition of vocational skills in Office Technology and Management, the students are equipped with effective work competencies and socio-psychological work skills, which are very essential in everyday interactions with other in the diploma program interested students are eligible to enroll in Modern Office Management course. This course is related to perform various official methods , operations and procedures with the help of modern methods and equipments.

The  Diploma  in  Modern  Office  Management  envisages  to  develop  competent  Office assistants, who can work and manage efficiently using modern resources, tools & techniques used in Modern Offices following ethical practices.

    1. Provide  competent  technical  manpower through  quality  education  in  the  field  of Modern Office Management
    2. Provide  a  conducive  environment of teaching-learning to  develop  communication  skills,  ethical  values,  environmental awareness, office       management skills, life-long learning skills and so on.

The Final VI Semester student diploma in MOM attend job training of one month in an office which be arranged by the institution. The work-sites where on-the-job training may be organized are:

  • Banking and Insurance Organizations
Employment
  • Personal secretary/Personal assistant /Receptionist to the executive and office executive  in the organization/Receptionist. 
  • Office executives / Supervisors.
  • Documentation executive /Supervisor in public and private sector enterprises.
  • Vocational teachers in ITI/ Polytechnics/ vocational schools.
  • Stenographer/ office Assistant / Steno-cum-typist in the Govt. as well as Private Organization.
  • Data Entry Operator/ Computer Operator/ Account Assistant/ Junior Clerk in various Office.
Self Employment
  • To establish own Computer Training Centre or Sale and Service Centre.
  • To provide Shorthand and Typing coaching for ITI/Polytechnic & other vocational Institutes.
  • To prepare account through computer for various business centre/ shop.
